Project: supporting the transition to a circular economy
Implementation of new technology for packaging of finished products (toilet paper and kitchen rolls), which will ensure the transition of the production process in this part to the circular economy models - we envisage to implement a modern robotic packaging system that will allow the introduction of circular models in the following 2 eligible areas of the procedure:
- Direction 1)
Waste reduction - the new robotic packaging system will enable a move towards a circular model "reducing the amount of waste generated in the production of a unit of product" and specifically reducing stretch film waste, as well as
- Direction 2)
Restricting the use of single-use plastic products, a circular model of "eliminating the use of plastic packaging", and specifically eliminating the polythene bags currently used to place the finished paper bundles and rolls before stacking them on pallets.
